Finally, after seven months of toil and frustration Above Hawke's Bay is live. I'm not a computer enthusiast but for the site to succeed I have to be able to manage it myself and the only way to learn enough to do that has been to build it myself. My thanks to Napier Boy's High computer tutor, Ross Clark, for his web design night class without which I would never have known where to start. Thanks also to CST's previous guardian, Peter McCombe, for the drawing.
Some old news to fill a gap
A friend and I were heading south for the Wanaka airshow on the morning of 7 April 2004 when we saw this at Matapiro - a scene so bizarre that our minds went into a state of non-comprehension. Arriving home a week later we found it was the result of an intense local hailstorm and that the ice had been on the ground for many hours when we flew past.
